Man’s search for meaning

Nothing about Viktor Frankl’s book. It’s another Sunday and today in particular felt lousy watching T.V. though it was supposed to be a good film. Hear dogs barking like crazy in the street and my dog in particular was extremely excited that he could not get out to join them. .  Went out to see one full grown but emaciated dog who was cowering against the onslaught from the others.  After watching for some time,   I chased the attackers away.   I offered the poor fellow water in a bowl.  He drank and then rubbed himself against me smelling my foot.  From the beginning I knew something was wrong but could not place it . Now at close quarters I could see his collar was almost choking him. It was a thick, double band synthetic one and he could hardly move his neck.  Probably abandoned as a pup and he had grown.
